As we head into 2026, we’re bringing the decadent, elevated flavors of French Onion soup to
Shacks — reimagining comfort food in a way only Shake Shack can.
Headlined by the French Onion Soup Burger, this lineup brings together high-quality
ingredients and craveable flavors for burgers and fries, featuring Gruyère cheese,
caramelized onions and garlic parmesan. Fans can also enjoy a new must-try side: our
first-ever Onion Rings, crispy, beer-battered and packed with flavor.
French Onion Soup Burger
A made-to-order quarter-pound* per patty of 100% Angus beef topped with Gruyère cheese,
caramelized onions, crispy sweet onions, and roasted garlic parmesan aioli on a toasted
potato bun. Available as a single, double, or triple.

French Onion ‘Shroom Burger
Crisp-fried portobello mushroom filled with melted Monterey Jack, Tilsiter and Colby cheeses,
topped with caramelized onions and roasted garlic parmesan aioli on a toasted potato bun.
