Unfortunately, many of our hot food items contain soy.
Based on your allergy, you should not consume our fries, cheese, Shack Sauce, or the ‘Shroom Burger.
But here is some good news: You should be able to enjoy most of our shakes and custards worry-free!

We use cholesterol-free, pure soybean oil in all our fryers.

Here are a few gluten-free suggestions:

Any burger can be ordered with a lettuce wrap. Flat-top dogs can also be ordered with a lettuce wrap!
Avoid ordering our ‘Shroom Burger, Shack Stack, and Chicken Shack or Bites, as these items all contain gluten.
The oil in our fryers is filtered through the same equipment as our ‘Shroom Burgers and Chicken Shack, so while the fries themselves at GF, there’s a possibility for cross-contamination.
Frozen custard should be ordered without the cone, and make sure to check the ingredients of any seasonal shakes with a Team Member before ordering.
As for drinks, skip the beer, but any soft drink or glass of wine is fine!”

We’re sorry to hear that! You can reach out to our team by filling out the Contact Us form, or by emailing Please include your order number, the location you ordered from, and the date of your order to ensure we’re able to assist you quickly.

Unfortunately, we can’t do that at this time. We care about getting your order correct, but we’ve found that comment boxes often cause confusion. However, you can modify individual ingredients within our Shack App or Website — just check or uncheck the boxes next to each item(s).

Shack App and Website orders can’t be changed once placed, but they can be cancelled up to 30 minutes before your selected pick-up time.
If you placed an order in person, please reach out to a Team Member for help.

While we currently don’t offer a Shack App rewards program, we do have Shack App exclusive promotions that pop up from time to time when you log in!

We do! You can tip our team to show your appreciation for orders placed at our Shacks as well as orders placed on our Shack App or Website, with the exception of delivery orders or orders paid using Gift Cards. Please know that Shake Shack is committed to providing competitive wages to our team and fantastic service to our guests, so you have no obligation to tip.

You can enter your Gift Card information at check-out for Shack App and Website orders. Alternatively, you can use your Gift Card in person (excluding Shacks located in stadiums, airports, travel plazas, and event venues).

We accept all major credit cards as well as Google Pay, Apple Pay, Shake Shack gift cards, and cash at most locations.
